John from Derian House, came to tell the children how the money that they raised would be spent. The mascot ‘Danny’ also came too. We raised 54.44 pounds.
We invited the parents and friends from Lever House Primary School to come and support our charities. Thank you for buying our cakes and throwing wet sponges at our children!
We have set up our stalls, supporting a charity of our choice. Each class in the school comes to visit us to buy cakes, sweets and have a go on the games and raffles. So far it is brilliant!
Today, the children have been teaching their skills and knowledge to other children in KS2. The activities have included: Russian, French and Spanish, Martial arts, a variety of dance and gymnastic skills, sports, juggling, a variety of I-pad skills from coding to accessibility and drawing skills.
We are sharing all this learning in an assembly – what a fantasic day. 🙂
Today, Mick Moss from the council came to talk to us about keeping our streets, parks and environment clean and safe. We looked around our school grounds (forest school) and saw a variety of wildlife. We even found out that the ducks had laid an egg near the pond.
With Mr Moss we helped to nail together bird boxes which we can use in our forest school.
We all had an amazing time, and we are very proud of our achievements.
